Immanentizing the Eschaton

Many people compose, and post blogs, through the mistaken belief that others are REALLY interested in their day to day lives. On the whole this is a common misconception, and a myth that needs to be buried in the ground to never rise again. It is a fallacy that needs to be put to the sword, and made to shuffle of this mortal coil. People read blogs and leave comments because they generally wish for you to respond in kind. They will read about your tiresome little existance, and trifling banal worries, if you will read about theirs. Hoardes of lonely people around the world are all huddled over their keyboards tapping their sad tear-jerking sagas onto a glowing screen in the vain hope that somebody, somewhere, will give them a cyber-hug, pat them on the head and say "There there hunnibun it's all ok, look I'm a lonely outcast as well".

Am I one of these whingey little crybabies? Or am I one of the deluded charlatans who believes himself to be inspired by a muse and gracing the lucky masses with the shimmery pearls that drip from his PC like honey? Am I one of these talentless daydreamers who equates rankings on MySpace and gushing comments from morons with an endorsment of artistic merit? Or am I here for "shit and giggles? Could I be a trouble causer who merely wishes to make mischief and bring around the end of the blogosphere as we know it? Or could I contain an aspect of all of these? Lie down on the floor and keep calm for all shall be revealed..........
